A proper ski helmet with hard ears that fits. This helmet should have a face guard that can be removed for free skiing

U14 Team–

Two-three pairs of skis: GS, Slalom and all mountain skis. Optional: Training skis and speed skis for Super G.

Ski poles that are the right size. One pair for slalom with pole guards and one pair for GS and free skiing.

Three pairs of skis: GS, Slalom and all mountain skis. Skis at this age, with few exceptions, should be adult skis that comply with USSA rules and standards for the appropriate age group. Recommended: Training skis and speed skis for Super G.

Three pairs of skis: GS, Slalom and all mountain skis. Skis at this age, with few exceptions, should be FIS compliant adult skis that adhere to rules and standards for the appropriate age group. Recommended: Training skis and speed skis for Super G.

Equipment Leasing and Pro Nights: For the younger athlete, our local ski shops offer leasing programs for the season. For the older, competition athlete, it is very beneficial to attend the “Pro Night” specifically for ski team at the shops to be able to order new equipment at discounted prices directly from the company reps. We will send out announcements as to when these events are coming up, as well as who is eligible to attend.
Equipment Maintenance: Our local ski shops offer some good tuning programs.
