Hometown: 
Born and raised in Seattle Washington, Moved to Ketchum Idaho in 1970.

Background:

Kenny started skiing at Snowqualmie Pass, Washinbgton.  His family are life long skiers.  When Kenny was 10, the family lived in Kitzbuhel, Austria.  That started the life long interest in skiing.  After moving back to Seattle the family built and operated the Alpine Inn Lodge and Restaurant at Crystal Mountain Washington.

Kenny started racing at age thirteen.  He progressed thru  PNSA junior racing. By age 16, he was invited to a US Ski Team development camp, which led to a spot on the US Team at age 17.  After five years on the Team Kenny went on to race on the World Pro Racing Tour.

Degree/Certificate:
Three years of college then off to ski racing. Level 3 PSIA Certified Ski Instructor, Level 4 USSA TD, Timing and Calculations and Referee and Level 200 USSCA Ski Coach.  6 year member of the US Ski Team and 6 year competitor on the WPS Pro Tour. Kenny has coached and directed at Snowbird, Sun Valley, South America, Australia and in Europe.  Member,  USSA IMD ACC committe and PSIA-NI Board of Directors. 

Sports/Hobbies:
Skiing, Sailing, Mountain Biking

Favorite Ski Area: 
Les Grande Montets, Argientierre, France. One Tram, 4,500 Vert. And on a good day, face shots from the top to the bottom!!

Unusual wierd accomplishment:

April 22, 1993: Along with friend, Mike Levy, skied 115,810 vertical feet in an 8 hour period at Sun Valley (37 runs down Warm Springs), a record for a ski area during a normal operating day.

What keeps me busy in the off season:
Spending time with my family and wife, Mary.
