MITEY MITES: The Mitey Mite program is an introductory program designed for ages 6 & 7 with basic skiing skills in search of a learning experience that will develop an great all around skier. Mitey Mites members are taught skiing fundamentals and racing technique according to their age and ability. Mitey Mites spend most of their time learning by free skiing with experienced coaches and 20% of the time gate training. We keep skiing and learning FUN! You may choose either the basic Saturday or Sunday program.
Development Team ” D” Team: Is for ages 8 and over in who want to learn racing technique and become a well rounded skier. Development Team members are taught skiing and racing fundamentals and participate in the BBSEF Coaches Cup race series. D-Team members spend 70% of their time learning by free skiing with experienced coaches and 30% of the time gate training. Our goal is to develop well rounded all mountain skiers with a passion for the sport, while having fun. You may choose to participate in the Saturday or Sunday program.
Is your racer interested in skiing more than one day a week? Is your racer 9 years or older and you want to do a little traveling and compete in the North Series races? If you answered yes to either of these questions the North Series Team may be for you.
North Series Team - Is designed for ages 8 to 13 wanting to pursue ski racing while traveling on a limited basis. This program is for athletes with basic racing skills who enjoying racing and want to train and compete two-three days per week. North Series members will compete in the Intermountain North Series races at Bogus Basin, Sun Valley and Kelly Canyon.
Team Shred Home – Is designed for athletes 9 and older with basic skiing or snowboarding skills. This program is focused on advanced big mountain skiing development and other freestyle disciplines such as moguls and park. This program is designed to develop a well rounded all mountain athlete by providing a fun and safe learning environment. Participants may choose the basic Saturday or Sunday program.
Team Shred Travel “TST” – Is designed for athletes (age 11 and older), this program is focused on advanced freeride and freestyle disciplines in a fun and safe learning environment. Early season and specialized event training and may require travel to other resorts (additional fees will apply). The competition team trains 3 days each week during the ski season. A competition schedule will be announced when it is available.
Ski Cross Team - Is a two day (Saturday & Sunday) program for those that want to train for both Alpine and freeride. Members will train one day with the Alpine D team and one day with Team Shred home team.
Alpine CompetitionTeam Program – Is designed for athletes (age 12 and older), this program is focused on advanced alpine race skiing development. This program consists of theU14-Team, U16-Team & U18/U21 FIS Team. Athletes in this program train three-five days per week and compete throughout the Intermountain Division of the USSA. Athletes travel to races with coaches and team members.
