Alpine Development Team U10+ (also referred to as Devo) is for ages 8 and older who love to ski.  Alpine Development (Devo) Team teaches basic all-mountain skiing skills and racing techniques with a strong FUNdamental emphasis. The Devo program is designed to introduce and refine the skills required to advance within BBSEF’s alpine and freeride programs. Coaches teach age-appropriate skill progression utilizing U.S. Ski & Snowboard’s Skills Quest training system consistent with BBSEF’s team-building philosophies.

Participants must have one winter's skiing experience, must be able to stop on their own, should be able to put on their own ski equipment. Load and ride the lift alone.

Team Goals

·         Build confidence to ski all types of terrain.

·         Introduce young skiers to a fundamental skiing progression applying both alpine and freeskiing technical skills.

·         Introduce young skiers to the possibilities of snow sports competitions.

·         Create strong peer relationships/group dynamics.

·         Instill respect for people, places, and property
