1. Winter jacket: We encourage you to purchase the team jacket.

3. One pair of all mountain skis

6. A proper ski helmet that fits
7. Goggles, gloves and neck gator
8. Sunscreen that can be permanently located in your child’s jacket.
9. A good backpack to transport all gear to and from the mountain.

2. Snow pants with side zips for removal on the hill
3. Base Layer
4. One-to-three pairs of skis: GS, Slalom and/or all mountain skis.
5. Ski tuning equipment that will allow you to maintain wax and tune your skis
6. Ski poles that are the right size. One pair for slalom with pole guards and one pair for GS and free skiing.
7. A speed suit appropriate for Slalom and GS
8. Shin guards that are the proper size
9. Optional equipment: Mouth guard, forearm guards, stealth body protector
10. One pair of ski boots that fit and that are age appropriate.
11. A proper ski helmet with hard ears that fits. This helmet should have a face guard that can be removed for free skiing
12. Goggles, gloves and neck gator
13. Sunscreen that can be permanently located in your child’s jacket.

Please consult your coach:

• Two-three pairs of skis: GS, Slalom and all mountain skis. Optional: Training skis and speed skis for Super G.
• Ski tuning equipment that will allow you to maintain wax and tune your skis
• Ski poles that are the right size. One pair for slalom with pole guards and one pair for GS and free skiing.
• Shin guards that are the proper size

Optional Equipment:

• Mouth guard
• Forearm guards
• Stealth body protector
• Back protector
• One pair of ski boots that are fit for ski racing with a good orthotic footbed and are age/development appropriate
• A pair of ski boots that are comfortable for free skiing. 
•  A FIS approved ski helmet with the FIS sticker required for GS, Super, G & Downhill.
•  A second helmet for Slalom; this helmet should have a chin and mouth guard. 
•  Goggles with light and dark lenses, gloves and neck gator
• Sunscreen that can be permanently located in your child’s jacket.
• A good backpack to transport all gear to and from the mountain.
• Ski bag and ski straps for all competition skis

Please consult your coach:

• Three pairs of skis: GS, Slalom and all mountain skis. Skis at this age, with few exceptions, should be adult skis that comply with USSA rules and standards for the appropriate age group. Recommended: Training skis and speed skis for Super G.  
• Ski tuning equipment that will allow you to maintain wax and tune your skis
• Ski poles that are the right size. One pair for slalom with pole guards and one pair for GS/Speed and free skiing.
• Shin guards that are the proper size
