Alpine U14 & U16/U18 Comp Team
These teams focus on preparing athletes for their athletic journey and are designed to be supportive of athletes who have chosen to specialize in alpine ski racing as well as those for whom alpine ski racing is one of the many sports and activities they participate in. Our focus is the development of the athlete as a whole. We believe the overall impact of sports goes well beyond the athletic results, instilling: sportsmanship, accountability, building character and confidence.
Bogus Basin season passes are not included and must be purchased from Bogus Basin.
U14 Team
The U14 team emphasizes ski racing techniques and tactics while continuing to develop basic technical skills. Groups split their time between all-mountain skiing, drills, and gate training. Free-skiing will continue to be a critical avenue for delivery and practice of fundamental skiing skills, and technical development. Athletes will develop the technical and tactical skills of Giant Slalom, and Slalom and will be introduced to Super G. Athletes at this level travel with families to competitions.
U16/18 Team
At the U16/U18 level team members become increasingly independent and self-reliant, traveling with the team and learning to balance their academic and athletic goals in a supportive team environment. The emphasis is on the technical and tactical aspects of all-mountain skiing and racing. Athletes split their time between all-mountain skiing, technical drills, gate training, and having fun! This program requires a commitment from the athletes and features a great deal of individual attention.
